For further information in English (and French) please visit " Geography in Germany" which originally was arranged for the IGU Congress Glasgow 2004 and which was updated for the International Geographical Congress 2008 in Tunis. The presentation provides the most important basic information about German geography and its institutions. The following topics are presented in an accessible and compact form:
