German Geographical Society (DGfG)
The DGfG is the parent organisation of all geographical associations and societies in Germany with about 25,000 members.

Aims of the DGfG
The DGfG represents the interests of geographers working at schools, universities and in practice.The DGfG is engaged in conveying to the public the importance of geography as a school subject, as a science and practice-oriented discipline.
Membership
As the DGfG is the parent organisation and itself accepts no individual members, interested geographers are requested to apply to the relative sub-association.Sub-Organisations and Institutions
